Mark your calendar for the 12th annual West Elks Wine Trail August 2-4. The wineries of the West Elks Wine Country invite you to their signature summer weekend of touring, premium wine tasting, food pairings, winemaker’s recipes, and complimentary gifts. Set your own route for a fun and relaxing day or weekend and come home with delicious wine and memories.
Start your West Elks Wine Trail tour by stopping by Black Bridge Winery to pick up your trail map for the weekend. We’re open daily 10am to 6pm.
Black Bridge will feature on Saturday and Sunday, Aug 3 and 4: wine wagon tours of the vineyards and orchards, wine pairings, barrel tastings, and complimentary bites of our wood-fired pizza.
Each of the ten wineries in the Paonia & Hotchkiss area will feature food and wine pairings, with a focus on local foods. Winemakers have selected two favorite foods to complement their wines, and give you the recipes just for stopping by.
With your $40 ticket purchase, you’ll enjoy free wine tastings during the weekend and receive a beautiful wine glass and a tote bag. Our winemakers will guide you through the tasting experience, providing insights into the unique terroir of the North Fork Valley and the wine-making process. While a ticket is not required to visit each winery and cidery over the weekend, purchasing a $40 ticket gives you ALL the benefits.
